1. The present position with regard to the supply of materials for 600 40-ton wagons is as follows:-

(a) Approximately 9,541 metric tons of materials ex Chinese

Railsways shipped.

163 metric tons of Cast Steel Parts (Schedule F) shipped.

(b) Materials still required to be sent:-

Approximately 427 metric tons Cast Steel Journals.

37 metric tons Bearing Bronze.

42 metric tons Cast Iron Brake Blocks.

shipment of the three items under (b) will be completed before the end of this year.

The materials given above complete the sets for 600 wagons.
